Giving rules IX

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 But this [I say:] He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. [So let] each one [give] as he proposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

Ninth rule of giving is "give bountifully." In otherwards give big, plentous, and spread out your giving. 

There are a number of ministries who are touching lives. That is good ground for sowing. Support some more ministries as much as you can.

If you sow little, you will reap little. If you sow much, you will reap much. The wise teacher in Ecclesiastes said as you invest, invest in seven or eight ventures for you never know which one shall survive or give you fruit. Even the seeds we sow, for them to give you good results, you ought to sow in abundance and expect a harvest. You are living on yesterday's seeds sown. 

I have never seen a farmer who enters a place of "no more sowing," never. They keep sowing. And any good farmer sows big if they want to reap big. It is commonly said never attack someone's fruit if you haven't seen the quality and quantity of the seed they sowed before. You don't know the seeds of love, money, time, etc they have sown in others, so leave them to enjoy their prosperity. This causes me to remember school days. Someone performs well in class and it is by no accident, they sowed sleepless nights before reading and revising, going for discussion groups, asking the teachers where they did not understand etc.

No one individual, institution or nation has ever prospered by being on a receiving end. They have always given something. Today you need to get on the side of givers if you haven't not just givers but big givers. Don't wait for someone to be a blessing to you, instead become someone's blessing today!
