Faith fundamentals II

Luke 8:50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

The second fundamental of faith after hearing God's word is, "believe it in your heart and do not doubt it." 

The world's way is not of faith, for it does not believe unless it has seen evidence or facts. This is the norm in courts of law, science laboratories, workplaces, etc. Some have even gone ahead to prove Bible facts with archaeological evidence or by going to the places where these things happened. It is hard for someone to believe that you went to school unless you show them evidence in the form of school certificates; that you know a certain skill unless you demonstrate it; that some truth is true unless you present evidence of it. Even before someone enters marriage, if you say that you love someone, take an oath before many witnesses, and sign against it lest you change your mind the next day! This is okay in the natural but not in the supernatural. Walking by simply believing God's word before seeing it come to pass is better than seeing and then believing. The disciples too struggled with this on many occasions after hearing the news that Jesus had resurrected. 

Child of God, watch out and do not be taken up by what the world thinks and says, continually attacking the way of faith. Focus on what the Lord says. The world's way will bring fear and unrest, but God's word, when taken by faith, brings peace of mind. 

The Bible says that Blessed are they who believe without seeing. Blessed there means happy. It pleases God when we take God at His word because He is God anyway. If you only wait to see evidence of things before believing them, you cannot operate in greater levels in the spiritual realm.

Only believe.

A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also. God first

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. God deserves our worship, love and time. Our lives need to be rotated around Him in all that we do.  The Bible says we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall follow. That scripture is contrary to popular thinking nowadays which advocates that people are masters of their destinies. Only the humble can try to live by it. That scripture does not say we should do other things and then seek God about them. On the other hand we should first go to Him for direction and then other things should follow.  That is why Sunday according to our numbering of days is called the first day and it is on such a day that we go worship God in the church.
